Welcome

Painting is my passion. I may have a core style but at times I 'doodle' and try something different - so occasionally my subject matter varies. Rural and urban scenes as well as man-made objects fascinate me by how the angles, tangents and color combinations can sometimes subconsciously trigger emotions. I embrace the challenge to paint the image of my inspiration, with a goal to visually convey the emotion I felt upon first viewing the subject.

Growing up in the Monterey Bay area of California, the natural beauty of what I grew up around has permeated my life and my art.
